Follow-on Public Offering(FPO)

FPO

This is what FPO usually means in the stock market: "Follow-on Public Offering."

After its initial public offering (IPO), a company that is publicly traded may offer more shares to the public through a process called a follow-on public offering (FPO). In this way, the company can get more money by selling more shares to buyers.

FPOs can be used for many things, like paying off debt, funding deals, or funding plans to grow. Companies may decide to do an FPO if they think the price of their stock is fair and investors want to buy more shares.
