This includes both full-service brokers and cheap brokers, whose only job is to make trades and not give personalised investment advice. At the most basic level of service, most online brokers are discount brokers, which means that deals are done for free or for a small set-price fee. There are now a lot of online agents who offer more advanced services for extra money.
